How we influence policy

We work closely with both local authorities in Galapagos and the Ecuadorian national government, providing scientific evidence for conservation action and elevating the voices of the community. Our policy work focuses on three key areas: plastic pollution, ocean protection and tourism.

Global Plastics Treaty

We're calling on world leaders to agree an ambitious, legally-binding Global Plastics Treaty that ends the scourge of plastic pollution.
