Galapagos Photography Competition

Welcome to the Galapagos Conservation Trust’s 2022 Galapagos Photography Competition!

We are very pleased to announce our four outstanding judges for this year’s competition. Science and wildlife presenter and GCT Ambassador, Liz Bonnin; professional photographer Walter Perez, who has been a Galapagos naturalist guide for more than 15 years; Diego Bermeo, a Galapagos National Park Ranger who teaches photography to the young people of Galapagos; and finally, photography enthusiast Ralph Pannell, the Director of Aqua-Firma.

This year’s winner will have their image included in GCT’s 2023 calendar and will receive a year’s free membership to Galapagos Conservation Trust.

“Galapagos is often described as a living laboratory, a mini planet, that allows scientists to better understand the interconnectedness, vulnerability and resilience of all living things. As such it has so many stories to tell, and photography is a very powerful way to help share those stories. I am looking forward to being drawn in, moved and inspired all over again by this year’s entries”.  – Liz Bonnin
