Galapagos land iguanas are currently classified as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. This status has not been reviewed since 1996 but they have faced increasing pressures from invasive species and an ageing population with low reproduction success. We’re working with to understand the decline of these reptiles and protect them from extinction
