Since 1995, we have supported conservation projects that encompass the three key areas of our vision for a sustainable Galapagos – science, education and culture.
We work closely with authorities and organisations in Galapagos and mainland Ecuador, as well as with partners in the UK, to leverage the greatest impact from our conservation efforts.
Galapagos can be viewed as a conservation template for the world as it exhibits many challenges that are evident on a global scale. It is our mission to keep Galapagos as one of the best conserved tropical archipelagos in the world and to communicate the lessons we can learn from this special place to a wider audience.
From species specific studies and ecosystem-scale restoration projects to promoting local recycling initiatives and educating the next generation of conservation ambassadors, these projects would not be possible without our supporters.
