Plastic pollution is one of the most pressing issues facing marine wildlife globally. Whilst the Galapagos Archipelago remains one of the most pristine ecosystems in the world, it is sadly not exempt from the issue. Over eight tonnes of plastic are removed from Galapagos beaches every year.
