Galapagos penguins are currently listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List due to a range of issues, including bycatch by local fisheries, pollution and climate change. By adopting a Galapagos penguin today, you can help to protect this species and other wildlife on the Islands. We work on a range of projects to protect Galapagos penguins and the marine environment, including assessing the risk of marine plastic pollution to Galapagos penguins as part of our Plastic Pollution Free Galapagos programme.
